Jan Tay has her share of ups and downs in life too. She understands the importance of having someone by her side when going through challenging times. With her social service experience working in the community, she believes people have the potential to overcome their struggles and this can be achieved easier when they are open to receiving emotional support along the way. She also believes in working at the pace of her clients in terms of their readiness for change. With patience, genuineness and respect, clients are encouraged and motivated to proceed forward, one step at a time.
In order to be a better helper, Jan continues her learning journey, acquiring knowledge, skillsets and tools necessary to cater and meet the needs of unique individuals.

This takes place at the comfort of your own home as we will meet via Zoom.
For better experience, find a private space with stable internet connection as well as working camera and microphone.

Walk-and-Talk
Therapy session can be held outdoors, soaking in nature and fresh air instead of sitting in room. However, complete confidentiality will be compromised since it is a public setting.
The session is held at Punggol Park and is subjected to weather condition. Counsellor has the right to cancel the session on the day itself.
